Setup/installation and configuration of home server + some training. This is a rebuild from an old PC that ran Win 10. The goal is to have a 24/7 file+media server+photo sync, and additionally with access to screenshare gaming+web browsing via Nvidia shield Pro. Nvidia Shield Pro already in use and connected. I have attempted the installation myself but realise my base knowledge is not enough. Software that might be installed and configured: Proxmox VE, Docker, Portainer, Tailscale, PIA VPN, Immich (photo sync), Win 10 OS VM, Plex Media Server, Moonlight/Sunshine, Samba, with GPU passthroughs. My hardware: Intel i5-8600k, Asus Z370 (LGA1151), 32GB DDR4-3600, 1TB M.2-2280 SATA SSD, 4x16GB NAS HDD, GTX 1070, PCIe 5GHz wifi card. (I can also use Powerline). Additionally using Raspi Zero with Pi-Hole DNS filter on router. Along with the installation and setup I'd like to be able to observe and learn basic manipulation of some of the application settings, and folder management. My experience using Linux systems is close to zero but I have started some research and started using containers in Docker on Windows.
Amir took care in understanding what my goals were, and setting the expectations of what was achieveable and what would best work for my case. Home servers can be complicated when starting from a base knowledge of near zero so I'm glad I contacted Amir to help me with this.

A friend of mine just gave me his enterprise server. It’s a beast of a machine but it is not sending its true 10gbe signal from the port. I believe it may be a physical issue, which would require to open it up reinstall the port.
