Hi. Need to move my washing machine that’s currently connected to the laundry room on the ground level up to my studio apartment level up one level. No lift however it’s a townhouse and there aren’t that many steps to get to the first level. Wide metal stairs too. Just need probs two muscles and a stair climbing trolley then bobs your uncle. - Disconnect my machine and reconnect the other washing machine next to it in the basement level - Clear out any laundry that’s still left in either of the 3 - my washer/dryer machine, the other washing machine or the other dryer. Bring these upstairs. - Bring my machine upstairs - Help connect into new plumbing set up that’s now set up next to my kitchen on my level but if you’re not comfortable doing that, that’s cool. Just do the one downstairs which is a simple swap of the respective machines piping tubes

Drum is making loud banging noises. Can you come fix it?

The spin function is failing. Spinning is frequently giving the unbalanced alarm. It CAN complete spin parts of a wash but requires constant attention and redistribution of the load and sometimes we just give up. This has been the case for about six weeks and becoming a very frequent issue. The washing machine is about 8 years old. I have the manual but I don’t remember which of the models it actually is: WA8060E/G WA7060E/G/M

Replace top loader machine in apartment. You will need to collect the machine from a local store which will be pre-paid. Remove the old machine (small 5kg load unit - this is not the weight). Install and connect the new unit. Remove the old unit from the apartment and dispose of it. Size of the box shown in image

Drum has detached from washing machine. Some wires exposed. Is this fixable or do I need a new one?

Replace existing 2 x Washing Machine and 2 x Laundry Taps with new. Replace old laundry spout with new. Remove old Laundry Tub and replace with new. All items supplied except S/P Trap which you will supply and install. Require a visit before you commence work to ensure it is not going to disturb the membrane. You must hold a valid NSW license in plumbing. As regards cost, you would have an idea. This is not urgent but to reiterate, you need to visit to check out the space to ensure membrane is not impacted and to ensure new tub will fit, then return at a later date to do the install. Washing machine hose to be disconnected. Requires a spanner that I don’t have.

The hose connection on our newly purchased (secondhand) Electrolux Ultimatecare 700 washing machine doesn’t fit with the wastewater pipe in our unit so we need someone to come and clamp or insert a new hose etc
