Secure curtain tracks to ceiling and window locks to Aluminium frame
$150
Darlinghurst NSW, Australia
24th Jul 2024
Changed to block out curtains and they are too heavy for the curtain tracks and have fallen down. 1. Tracks are from IKEA were secured to the Gyprock. They need to be drilled into the metal frame and secured. (3 x 1400mm tracks) require securing. There are included IKEA securing devices pictured that lock into the track by turning them 90 degrees. If you have a better securing method, happy to hear your idea. Ceiling is gyprock on a metal frame suspended, see photo of aluminium. 2. Window locks are all loose. May need re drilling and securing with correct screws into the aluminium frame. (4 x window locks). Pictures attached. Any questions please ask.

Leaking Timber Window Repair Quote
$5
Darlinghurst NSW, Australia
20th Apr 2021
My apartment in Darlinghurst has a solid cedar double sash window in the laundry which was installed around 2016. In last month's storms our tenant contacted me saying that there was a leak below the window between the masonry wall and the timber window. Apparently, the leak was making the interior wall paint bubble. Unfortunately, I do not have photos of the leak or the damage. Although I live in Melbourne now, I will be in Sydney for the next week and was hoping that someone could come and have a look at the window to quote on fixing the leak.

Build Portable Air Conditioner Window Adapter
$150
Elizabeth Bay NSW, Australia
4th Feb 2020
Hi there, I need portable air conditioner window adapter made to replace the plastic one, which came with my new unit, which is 15cm too short for my my window. I’m thinking a piece of wood, cut to size, to replicate the plastic kit. Painted white to seal and match the window frame. I need a hinged flap on the outside of the exhaust hole, for weather protection. Two small knobs to allow the adapter to be easily installed and removed from window. Suggest a slot at the top Of the adapter for the window to slot into, to prevent the adapter from falling out.... The air conditioner exhaust pipe connector needs to lock into the finished product and be airtight to prevent air blowing back I tot he apartment. Maybe using screws? I’ve included some pix showing what I’ve got set up using gaffs tape. Please contact me if your interested. Thanks David
