The ropes on two of the sash windows of my 1950s weatherboard are old and broken so my window doesn't stay open. I'd like both ropes on each window replaced and reconnected back to the weights. Spring balances in a couple of double hung windows have released/broken. Windows put in about 25 years ago so not old fashioned chords and weights. Need these springs measured and replaced.
