Hi all! Would be much appreciated if someone could cut out and replace the hinged 1/3 (one-third of the entire frame) of my metal doorframe (from my laundry to bathroom). The top and doorhandle side of the frame are perfectly fine, so no work is needed on those. The lower half of the hinged 1/3 has rusted out, due to water leakage from the front ensuite bathroom. However it's renovated now, so no more water is leaking through. As best as I know, the doorframe is a Metroll deluxe 620×2040 95 B/O hinge right hand side. Please first drop by to doublecheck this, before you source a preferably new hinged 1/3. The job, essentially = find a replacement hinged 1/3 of the doorframe, cut and remove the rusted hinged 1/3 of the doorframe, clean out any loose brickwork etc. and perhaps repack the wall a bit, cut the new Metroll doorframe to match (ensuring the hinges are at the correct heights), weld (or glue, screw etc.) it in and file back any welding so it's flush. #Please note - the new grey tile on the wall, up against the base of the rusted hinged 1/3 (on the left hand side when entering the bathroom) will very likely need to be removed. I've got spare grey tiles, so if you're able to cut a new tile and put it in that would be great. If not, that's fine and I'll find a tiler to cut another tile later. I'll do the puttying, sanding, painting and door installation later on. If you have any questions about the job, please ask! The damaged section is highlighted in one of the photos. The front door frame is pulling away from the wall on one side. It hasn’t been an issue but now the door is scraping a bit on the floor. The frame needs to be secured to the brickwork again and ensure that the door is not scraping.

Hi all, This brickwork & plaster job (all at the same property) involves three individual tasks: Location: East Victoria Park. Task 1: Living Room Wall (i) Remove the external glass door/screen door and side glass panels (ii) Brick up the doorway area using bricks of identical texture and colour to the external wall. (iii) Plaster/render the interior of the wall so that it is flush with the adjoining interior walls and ready for painting. Task 2: Bedroom 1 (i) Remove the air-conditioning unit from the bedroom, underneath the window (ii) Brick up the area under the window using bricks of identical texture and colour. (iii) Plaster the interior of the wall so that it is flush with the adjoining interior walls, ready for painting. Task 3: Bedroom 2 (i) A section of the wall in the bedroom has exposed brick where the plaster has been chipped off when we were installing a new wooden door panel. This task is to patch up the area of exposed brick with suitable plaster (damaged area is along the wooden doorframe – see photo) so it is flush with the wall and ready for painting. Please include in your quote: - Cost of acquiring bricks - Removal of removed door frame and air-conditioner.
