I need a skilled handyperson or carpenter to fix a door and frame issue on potentially 2 more doors, but starting off with just one so the price that’s up is for that one door. The door latch (the metal part the door locks into on the frame) was installed incorrectly and needs realignment so that the door can lock properly. The job includes: 1. Moving the latch plate on the door frame so the door locks correctly. 2. Filling the old latch hole with wood putty (I have putty already). 3. Sanding and finishing the patched area so it blends with the timber. 4. Sanding and sealing/staining the raw wood of the door and frame. The job shouldn’t take too long. I’ll post pics soon. I’ve got putty and sand paper. And can happily provide the stain/sealant or would be willing to negotiate the price if you provide this for me. Please note that an unsuccessful attempt has been made to fix things.

We have two sliding doors that need repairs as we are unable to take the doors of the frames to fix it ourselves. There seems to be not enough space in the frames to lift the glass doors. Both sliding doors are ready hard to open, rollers are most likely damaged. We need help from someone who's has experience repairing domestic glass sliding doors.

I have a security door opening in the backyard and need to install an additional door that can be kept closed at night to prevent cold air from coming in. We still want to let sunlight in during the day while keeping the door closed so don't want to remove the security door unless there is another alternate way of allowing sunlight during the day and keeping it closed to prevent cold draught at night.
