My door knob is very stiff hard to turn. Might need replacement. I need help with fixing this door nob.

We have a double brick cavity wall that has two steps down from dining room to activity room. We need a custom door for the opening.

- install cat door in new internal door - remove old internal door - install new internal door using hardware from old door. I have the new door (from Bunnings) and the cat door. Hardware should be fine to reuse, but I need someone who has the skills (and equipment) to cut the hole in the door in which to install the cat door, and to cut/chisel the bits that need to be cut/chiseled to install the hardware in the flat canvas of the door. I'm told that doors do sometimes need to be slightly shaved down for best fit, so that may also be required.

My garage door opened when a tall piece of furniture was inside- the item pushed in to the door and forced one corner of the door out from the door frame.
