Looking for a handyman to source and install a new strike plate for my exterior door frame. The old strike plate had fallen off and is lost. The width of the strike plate is about 50mm from centre to edge. Screw gauge is 10mm.

Urgent - Dead latch attached to door already - just need someone to cut metal door frame to fit metal frame strike and screw in also.

Come to site. Set up saw horses etc. cut down door 15mm at bottom. Rehang door (just screw in the hinges). With the right tools it’s 30 minutes work. Don’t need it painted. Have a Danmar garage door, installed 2019. Don’t have a user manual. Seems the motor/control unit needs to be reset. Recently it started flashing the main light 5 times after closing, and flashing a red letter A at all times. But still seemed to be working fine. Like an idiot I tried resetting it myself by semi-randomly pressing buttons; now it is not operating at all - but still has power, lights).
