A rotted bottom plate in a load-bearing wall needs to be replaced. The house is brick veneer. Please see the pictures attached that have measurements. (length: 1.2m + 5.5m) The damage is due to both rot and termites. Both source problems are now being fixed. Only the bottom plate needs to be replaced. All studs are solid. The bottom plates seem to be 90*35 Need an experienced builder with wall jacks who will buy the material and bring it beforehand to save time (I will reimburse). The job won't take more than half a day or so. If more plaster will need to be cut, that's not an issue I can do that prior to your coming

Repair Gate, It has come off Hinges (truclose hinges) I need someone to put a gate back on the hinges and I will help. It seems to lock into place rather than with screws, but I could be wrong. Description: My bathroom sliding door is not shutting completely. It has two rollers on top, but one of them has a loose screw, causing the door to tilt and touch the ground on that side.
