Due to the recent heavy rain, the property has suffered some extensive leaking in various parts. The insurance claim was rejected, stating some areas that needed to be fixed prior to repairs being approved. I will attach parts of the report and photos to the job. It is a double story townhouse.

Replacement of existing pergola post with new post and paint (grey/white accents). During recent gutter clearance, I was informed that the likely reason for the failure of the existing post was due to the gutter pooling water directly above the post, so a slight rectification to the gutter pitch to direct water to the downpipe is also required (see pictures). Supply and install downpipe and box gutter

Currently there exists a drain installed from house to the street kerb. Council have advised that j need to have an approved ‘kerb protector-adapter’ installed. Please refer to attached photos for details. If needed I am able to procure the kerb protector myself and supply for your installation and make good. I presume some small concrete work is required.

The task includes cleaning, preparing the surfaces for painting. Painting 2 (or more as required) coats of paint on the gutter, fascia, downpipe, trims of our terrace house. We are unsure if it will be easier to spray the paint on or brush. Happy to take advice from an experienced painter. We will supply the Dulux paint so don’t include in the price.
