I have a double IKEA loft bed that needs some modifications to suit my room, which has a relatively low ceiling. The legs (See markings) need to be cut off by about 35cm. Similarly, the ladder needs to lose a step or two. Another thing I need is for the ladder to be installed across the width of the bed (See arrow in picture), rather than the length as provided by the. For this, the wooden pieces in the frame need to be cut off and holes need to be drilled accordingly to fit the nails provided for ladder installation. By the way, it has not been installed yet, so all the work needs to be done on separate pieces. I am intending to install it by myself once all the work is done. If you could let me know how much the works would cost, that would be wonderful. Thanks!
