Wooden beam on the left side of our bed that supports the slats for our bed has snapped and so there is no longer anything supporting that side. It was screwed into the bed frame so we essentially need that wooden beam (around 185cm in length) to be replaced and screwed into the bed frame.

I want to replace an old gas oven (55cm) with an induction one - the problem is all induction ovens on the market are 60cm wide. My space is... 59cm wide. So, I need to find an extra 1-2cm of space either by moving or somehow shrinking the kitchen unit seen in the pictures. Creative ideas welcome!
