Decking has been jet washed and needs to be stained (I have the decking stain - water based). Will need a quick sanding first to remove rough splinters from jet washing. There will probably be frost in the morning so the decking will need to be defrosted first, with a heater or blow drier. Job needs to be done tomorrow (Friday) starting in the morning. I have a platform which is the continuation of what has been circled in the photo. I need someone to help to openit up, and create some new storage area under the bed. I suspect the platform was built to cover the pipes that connect to the bathroom. However, I have no idea how big those pipes are, and we won't know until we open up the cover (should be easy with a chisel). I want to make use of the empty space by creating one or two big drawers (depending on how much empty space).
