Find a professional local handyman in Langley

I opened my staircase up to be open plan but now I have 2 dogs and want them to stop going upstairs, I did move the settee away from the wall but they jump over from the back of the settee! It’s the left hand side of the staircase the smaller side, I just have a chrome hand rail on the other side. Don’t want anything fancy as it’s just a council house and I am also waiting to move to a bungalow in Wales. The pic is what someone else has done, not that keen but can’t find anything else. I dont have the materials but if you could supply and I will pay for that extra. :)

The bracket was secured last weekend and three days later,the bracket is so loose, the right side of the curtain rail became lopsided.
