I have an aftermarket sports gear shifter fitted to my 2007, Bmw 355 manual. However, the 3 bolt holes holding the gear shifters bolts to the body have become withered and enlarged with the vibrations and the whole gearshifter lifts out of place. I’ve had it bolted down twice before, and it lasts about a week or so, however, then it slow becomes loose again, some of the holes in the bodywork have become really big and opened so it was suggested to either weld the 3 bolts into place or somehow use bigger bolts an washers maybe even clamps and really bolt it down tighter using thicker bolts, which ever is easier to do. I do not mind welding it into place at all as I’m not planning to sell the car. The car can be driven and moved. So I can visit you depending on distance, It is very low so to get underneath you need a low sports car Jack or we can put on a ramp. Thank you in advance
