there was damp coming in from the outside because of the faulty guttering and a gap in the seal where the building is joint. I've attached photos of the outside for your reference. There was damp on the carpet too which has now been removed. The building management company is sending contractors who are sorting out the outside they’re going to replace the gutter pipe and paint the wall with a rubber paint so the whole wall is sealed from the outside. So I need a quote for the below: Removing the bottom part of the wall because it's damp (approx. 30-40cm from the floor up), drying it all out and damp sealing from the inside, putting in a new wall back up.

The cord on my Hillary's window blind has frayed to the point of breaking. It is the cord on the right you use to raise and lower the venetian blind. I've contacted Hillary's who say they won't repair because it is out of guarantee period. They are sending out replacement cord material for the job.
