I have some repair works specified in a Homebuyers Survey for a house that I am in the process of purchasing that require urgent attention (quotes taken from report): "Chimney stacks: need repointing; some stains on the parapet walls suggest the possibility of blocked or inadequate throatings to the underside of the overhang on the copings; plant growth coming from the lower levels of the left rear parapet wall indicates defective render.
