Hello, Our front door lock has a slight misalignment between the latch and the receptacle in the door frame, meaning that it needs to be slammed in order to get it to latch securely. I believe fixing it will require removing the receptacle, adding a thin wedge to correct the misalignment and replacing the receptacle (or some other solution you'd recommend)? (See photo). There are a few asks, the coat hooks we had up were too heavy For the wall by the door. We would like to add a horizontal coat hanger to cover these holes (however we have not found one online and aware this might be made to measure) if you have carpentry experience to fulfill this yourself that would be great. In the separate hall way we are planning on putting the coat hooks (pictured) on a different wall which will be sturdy. Also our coat closest sadly did not had a rail put in due to builders being used going Under.
