Hello I am writing to you following a fire inspection which was conducted at my property. The inspection pointed out two faults that need to be remedied: 1) Gaps between the door leaf and frame to the top or side are excessive giving gaps more than 5mm; meaning cold smoke or intumescent seals will be ineffective. If the door leaf cannot be adjusted to reduce the gap, the gap will need to be reduced by re- lipping the door leaf or installation of a replacement door leaf.
