The Job: Reinforce: Screw existing loose plasterboard back into joists to stop "nail pops." Brace Light: Secure the light fitting to a joist or noggin to stop it wobbling when people walk upstairs. Overboard: Fix new 12.5mm plasterboard over the existing ceiling to level it out. Skim: Professional plaster finish (tape, joint, and skim) ready for painting.
