In need of a professional and experienced plumber who can fix a leak coming from my bathroom. I reckon it’s likely coming from the copper pipes or the flexi underneath the tap. The leak has affected the wall, covered it with black mould and caused the water to seep through the carpets of my passage as well as behind the wall to my sister’s bedroom carpets. I have closed the iso valves so water no longer comes out but it will only get worse if the problem is delayed. The plumber has to provide a guarantee in case something goes wrong.

Our bath shower tap needs changing as it's been leaking. We have already purchased a new one. Also our toilet seat has cracked so it needs changing but we don't know which one to buy. So we'd need some advice on that & for someone to change it. I believe it would need to be a top fix.

The thermostat on our mixer Lusso Stone shower ("LUXE BRUSHED GOLD THERMOSTATIC SHOWER WITH HANDHELD SHOWER") is no longer as hot as it was. Hot water comes out of the adjoining sink fine, so not a supply issue to the shower. It is an issue with both the overhead shower and the handled shower. Speaking to the manufacturer they believe: "The most common reason for the shower to have an issue with the temperature is debris or limescale that has got into the cartridge and affects the functioning of this part of the shower." However, a recent plumber was not able to remove the cartridge and said the valve needed replacing. We have a replacement valve now. The plate is attached to the micro cement wall with sealant and will need cutting off (maybe with a long flat straight blade), then very carefully cutting through the micro cement, though the plaster, through the plasterboard to access the valve to replace. Once the valve has been replaced, the job is to ensure: - The shower is working fully with hot water - Suitable water-tightness - Looks good with no sign of repair
Knowledge and helpful. Lucky it was an easier fix than expected.

My previous plumber seemed to think all the water could be switched to the mains (currently it’s only the cold kitchen tap that uses water directly from the mains and so never runs out and has great pressure). For now I just want that confirmed. I’m flexible with times but need mornings. Also toilet isn’t working properly as a result of the bad gravity system so please go before you come so you won’t need to use it.

I need to change (like for like) a bath shower mixer tap. To access under the bath, a cupboard needs to be slid out of the way but that is slightly blocked by a heated towel rail. So that will need to be isolated and removed too - will need therefore to be corgi registered. We have recently installed a new shower in an old bathroom. Over the past couple of weeks, we have noticed water dripping from where the pipes are which corresponds to the back wall of the shower. Water appears only when the shower is running and it's small but constant. We need to find out where is coming from. We've secured all the little mosaic tiles in the picture... We had a plumber look at the job and told us that the pipe were fine and that we most likely need to remove the mosaic tiles dry the wall and replace them. We want to remove that entire vertical strip of mosaic tiles and replace it with something else. As I said, we replaced the grout wherever we found it to be loose but it's not enough. I need someone with plumbing and tiling experience to help us fix this problem asap. We won't use the old mosaic tile and rather move to a backsplash just in the strip that runs behind the shower unit. I do not want to be charged for call-out fees but you are very welcome to come take a look before giving a quote. I need to fix this asap.

Hi! We are looking for a certified plumber for this issue. We have this shower system. We have a shower hose that is brand new and we have just replaced it, and when we bought it new, it had new elastic inside. However, even with this replacement and new elastic, the shower head/hose continued to leak, so we put a second elastic inside the hose. It is still leaking. We are trying to understand why, even when we don't use the shower for a couple days, this hose continues to leak. When it leaks, without using the shower for a couple days, it is a lot of water- cups of water can fill up. We want someone to tell us why this is leaking and how it must be fixed. If you know how to fix it, it would be great! We don't want the tiles on the wall broken.
