My Immersion Heater is blocked with sludge and no water water is flowing . The electric Immersion Heater works that is it heats water but the cylinder and pipe is blocked so no hot water is flowing . The Immersion Heater Tank which sits under the cold water tank.The immersion tank is full and it needs to be drained before it can be unblocked . I do not know if it can be chemically treated . I do not know how you can drain the tank but I attach photos of the bottom part of the Immerson Heater Tank . I have two tasks which require a Tasker: 1. Replacing a kitchen tap - I have an Almaren kitchen tap from ikea which requires installing 2. Amendment of kitchen worktop using a jigsaw - I recently purchased a new hob from Curry's which is slightly too big for my worktop. The Curry's engineer advised that I get a kitchen fitter to cut out 20mm from the worktop using a jigsaw so that the hob fits. Please note that this job is only cutting the worktop, not installing the hob.

Hi, today my tap started leaking a lot (not just dropping). It is a mixer tap and water was flowing out of the "back" of it despite switching it "off". It was leaking down onto the floor, but I managed to access under the sink and turn down the valve with a screwdriver to slow the flow. I'm not sure if something else needs adjusting to the valve, the pipe or if the tap seal (or whole tap) needs replacing, but would like someone to come out and identify the problem and fix it. If we need to get a new tap, I'd obviously pay for the additional parts and labour, but think that is step 2. If it turns out this can just be fixed with some sealant or some basic adjustment, that's even better.
