Have been having problems with toilet drainage for some time due to old system being very narrow and fragile. Have had to unblock it ourselves several times and had a horrible case of it yesterday, so it is pretty much clean, however it is not draining as fast and I worry it will just happen again soon. We feel it needs a proper plunger to unblock it properly as ours doesn’t suffice. The task will take less than 15 minutes to complete with proper equipment as because as I have mentioned, we have done most of the work ourselves, so please only reasonable offers or we will not accept. There’s a subtle leak coming from base of my toilet. A family friend who was visiting for the day, who’s a plumber, diagnosed it as a leak from mains water pipe into cistern. Probably has a leak at the isolation valve so needs tightened up

We have a very old cast iron pipe which will eventually need replacing by the leaseholders. But for the time being we’d like to do our best to damp proof our cupboard space, because the pipe is getting condensation on the outside of it which is making the whole cupboard damp. It’s even reached the back wall which backs onto a kitchen cupboard, and without a dehumidier the cupboard gets damp. I have no clue what is best here, perhaps damp proof membrane, some thermawrap for the pipe or a pipe insulator? Would love to hear thoughts and quotes for this! Thank you 😊
Waterflow & Replacing Shower Cartridge

i have two issues that I think are linked. 1 is the waterflow of the shower has got a lot less/weaker over the last while and we want to find out why and fix it. 2 is an issue with shower water temperature which means that the water temperature fluctuates between very hot and very cold with only a small turn of the nozzle.
