I need to replace the side panels of an outdoor deck staircase, looking for an experienced carpenter who can quote on how much time it will take and the cost to complete the job. Materials will be provided. The deck is installed over a concrete staircase and the side panels are rotting. See pics. There are 6 steps, the treads are merbau and the sides treated pine. I have a residence with a solid timber floor recently polished and coated with a polyurethane coating. However, the flooring looks like it has uneven levels of glossiness and shine and also looks like it has bubbles in it. It also looks to be scratching very easily.
