The gate is not closing unless manually pushed closed due to its poor alignment - the top part of the gate is getting caught preventing it from closing. In the photos, you can see where it is rubbing up tightly along the latch - white scuff marks. The tension is fine as it moves towards closing and the self latch system will work once the gate is pushed in to a closed position. Need repaired as soon as possible. Please reply if you confidently know you can fix it. Thanks

Two awnings on side of house, need to be removed from external wall so windows can be painted above. The awnings will need to be reinstalled a few days later at a time that suits you. Owner of the house is nervous about wall being damaged so the removal and reinstallation needs to be smooth.

Slats of a sectional garage door were damaged when the door was lowered at the same a time a car was exiting. The door comprises 4 sections. Photo 1 illustrates the door and photos 2 (outside) and 3 (inside) illustrate the damage. Photo 4 illustrates two coil springs that are torqued to counter balance the weight of the door for opening and closing. It would be probably necessary to release the spring torque prior to attempting repair of the door bearing in mind that it will be necessary to remove the lowest section to replace or possibly repair the slat. Releasing the spring torque is hazardous and for that reason I seek someone who has experience working on doors of this type.

I have a crystal chandelier light which needs five new lightbulbs. It is in a high stairwell. Please see the photo. My guess is that the ceiling height would be about 5 metres,maybe more. So basically, I need someone with a long ladder . I would also appreciate it if the Airtasker could dust the light at the same time. (Just 15 minutes spent wiping with a dust cloth would be appreciated. That should be sufficient). I will supply the lightbulbs and dust cloth. - Due date: Before Saturday, 28 October 2023
