I have a couple issues with a very old aluminum window in our house, and am hoping someone with experience with windows can help. 1. The sash has come up the top of the window pane. It’s missing a few screws (about 8mm or 9mm I think?). I’m not sure if a sealant needs to be applied to as well when refitting the sill onto the pane. 2. On one side of the window, the track in which the window pane sits has become detached from the frame and has narrowed. As a result this is preventing me from opening the window. I’ve added some photos of the detached sash, the screw size, the pane, and the warped track in which the pane sits. Happy to provide more photos if needed.
