The current fan is controlled by a switch (for on/off power, nothing else), and then a remote for turning the light on and off, and fan speed. The new fan does not have a remote and so may need a change of faceplate on the switch too? Not sure.

The Exhaust Fan (200mm diameter measured grill) is also flakey and looking for ideas whether that can be painted, or should look to replace with a more powerful option (the more I try to touch it the more it needs a proper replacement)
