I believe a bird may have tried to make a nest in my carport door roller. I realised too late and from what I could see I think twigs have gotten caught. The door still works as normal but it's definitely a little slower. I'd like this resolved before it gets any worse. Would be open to ideas to prevent future birds flying in.

Our external garage door is in a metal frame with welded pin hinges. Currently the hinges are on the outside, door opens to the outside/backyard. Want to swap the hinges and lock so it opens to the inside of the garage. Has a crap door lock, so would ideally like to fix or replace that at the same time. Flexible on when this task can be completed, it's not urgent, just something we are wanting done in the next few weeks

Had a go with screw extractor but made it worse, so will need the thread repaired as well. Anyone in Melbourne do this?
