The sillicone in our bathroom has got mould in it. We want to get it cleaned up before we lease our apartment out. We're told it's easiest to remove it and do it again. I’ve got approx 10 patches of ceiling where a tradie has replaced cracked joint tape and skim coated over the top however the surfaces are rough and the new tape is showing through. Another skim coat on each patch is needed and then I’d like the patches sanded so that I can paint. It is one hall way wall as shown and then two ceilings that have 2-4 spots each to be patched due to suspending things from the ceiling. Ceiling patching required in 7 spots where there were previously light fittings. DIY patching jobs have been done on most of the spots which will probably need to be taken off and started again. One of the holes is over the stairwell and landing area that will need a long ladder to reach. You would need to provide all tools and materials. As part of this same job, I am also looking for: a) A repair to be done to the coving on the landing area where there was recently a water leak (also in attached photos). This repair will consist of supplying and applying a primer sealer stain killer and then paint job on an approx 40cm stretch of coving. I have the can of paint just not the primer sealer stain killer. b) skim coat or ‘set the edge’ on a render job previously done in the laundry to make it blend in with the rest of the wall.
