Looking for someone experienced to replace a water-damaged piece of plaster in my home. The job involves: Removing the damaged plaster and cornice replacing it with a new sheet and cornice. Sanding down the new plaster once installed to create a smooth surface. Applying a coat of primer/undercoat to ensure the new plaster is ready for painting. Ideally, you will have experience working with plaster and prepping walls for painting. The work area is w/c, and I’d like the job to be done as soon as possible. Looking to get an understanding of how much it would cost for someone to strip, sand and re-varnish our timber window frames. The old varnish is too dark for our house and aging. I have done a few windows and they are time consuming. We have about 15 windows in the house of varying size from 2.5 x 3m to 0.5m2. An example of one window unsanded and one sanded. In the quote, please let me know what you need to provide an accurate figure, as well as the process you propose to take (so I know you know what you are doing!)

I need an interior room painter, walls and ceiling. Room is approx 7m by 15m. So ceiling is around 98sqm. One wall is maybe 21sqm (7x3). The additional 3 walls maybe 40sqm in total (8 windows in total also need trim painted). Is a new extension so no prep. Is plastered. No architraves or skirts to paint. Note the lower part of the room has a high ceiling. I can supply scaffold for that. I can include paint but brushes, rollers, drop cloth, etc should be yours.
