We have a fairly new Rheem tank hot-water system. The water temperature has been dropping on what comes out of our tap. The hot water system is functioning fine and the water is hot. The tempering valve is more than 5 years old and this is the most likely reason for the tepid water. The valve that is installed is a ‘HydroBoss’. Please provide cost to replace the valve and any certificate lodgement costs applicable.

I have an old fridge with a temporary water line connected but I want to install a permanent water line. The current connection is from the kitchen sink, across the cabinets (indicated by the blue line) but we wanted it from the ceiling to ensure good pressure. I’ve been told it’s just a matter of using the supplied wrench to remove the current shower head and to install the new hand held fixture (my father is unstable on his feet and can’t do it safely). It’s been swapped out before. The water has been switched off on that line so upon completing the job you’d also need to go outside and flip the valve to turn the water back on. I’m interstate at the moment and my father is alone and without a shower. Willing to negotiate fee. An example photo of what’s there right now is attached as a guide only. Apparently my dad did it himself last time and it’s straightforward.
