I would like a bidet spray installed next to my toilet. I tried doing it myself but the pressure was split between the toilet and the spray. I can choose to have full pressure either to the toilet or the spray but not both. I would like to connect it directly to the main water source to give equal pressure to both. But when I tried this I forgot to turn on the main pressure sores and so I flooded the bathroom and my bedroom next to it. I'm hoping someone who knows what they're doing can help me this time!

We have a fairly new Rheem tank hot-water system. The water temperature has been dropping on what comes out of our tap. The hot water system is functioning fine and the water is hot. The tempering valve is more than 5 years old and this is the most likely reason for the tepid water. The valve that is installed is a ‘HydroBoss’. Please provide cost to replace the valve and any certificate lodgement costs applicable.

14 yo valve whistles loudly so I purchased a replacement from Bunnings - just needs fitting to be completed now. Est 1/2 hrs work.

I’ve been told it’s just a matter of using the supplied wrench to remove the current shower head and to install the new hand held fixture (my father is unstable on his feet and can’t do it safely). It’s been swapped out before. The water has been switched off on that line so upon completing the job you’d also need to go outside and flip the valve to turn the water back on. I’m interstate at the moment and my father is alone and without a shower. Willing to negotiate fee. An example photo of what’s there right now is attached as a guide only. Apparently my dad did it himself last time and it’s straightforward.
