I recently replaced the connector seal on my toilet, but now there’s a leak from the base of the cistern that I can't fix. The entire refill tube mechanism and flush valve gasket feel loose, and despite my efforts, I can't tighten them enough to stop the leak.

Job for experienced plumber. Main pipe is broken in backyard, toilet near back getting backed up and overflowing. Camera has been put down already so know what the issue is. The terracotta main pipe will need to be replaced with pvc. Approx 1.5 metres underground. Will need a team of 2-3 to dig to replace. And refill, landscape as per normal.
