Hi, we have a roller shutter that is letting light in. Due to the nature of the install the only way to prevent this is to caulk the side of the shutter. See photo. This is on a second story so a ladder is required. There is a roof to walk on so its easy once up there. See second photo. Colour: Monument. Must be done this Friday afternoon (22 November. Potential for another 1 or 2 shutters to require caulking on the day. Will increase the price if that is the case.

One shutter works fine, but the other doesn't, although the motor still makes noise when the switch is pressed. A technician previously raised a concern about both shutters being controlled by a single switch, which could have caused the motor failure, though other factors like water ingress, faulty components, improper installation, or an incorrect motor may also be to blame. We need someone to inspect and fix the issue. Please note this is on the second floor, and a standard ladder may not be tall enough.
