Additionally, I can hear other tenants entering and talking while waiting for the elevator through my apartment's front door. My window has double glazing and can be retracted outwards, but I don't mind if it becomes fixed. I've looked into products like seals and retrofit glazing, but I prefer a professional to assess my situation. The job largely entails plugging gaps where the walls meet the ceiling and around the doors with soundproofing material to prevent sound bleeding between the rooms.
