I require a qualified carpenter to complete general maintenance work on a run-down weatherboard house. Tasks to be completed - Open 4 x standard-size windows that have been painted shut (also include drilling holes to ensure sliding window locks can be used when the window is open Repair & patch up 6 damaged weatherboard pieces (small holes) Will require replacement if necessary (painted white if time permits) weatherboards to be sourced from local bunnings on the day Supply and install a square colourbond down pipe and connect to the gutter and run to the existing drain pipe in the ground approx 2500mm length. to be sourced from local bunnings on the day Replace window winder (part to be supplied)small bathroom window Silicon loose roof sheet to stop dripping on porch (single story) Replace and repair pantry cupboard hinge (has detached from door) Remove random star picket from garden bed Remove random broken wood stump from garden bed Additional items of small scale to be added. Up to date images will also be added. Task to be completed before end of March. Must be qualified and insured with own tools and ladders.

Two weatherboards at the back of my house need to be replaced. One has fallen off and the other is still on but is rusted. Looking for a suitable replacement and installation to match the existing weatherboards. Measurements of each board is approx 23 cm H and width is approx 425 cm

About 9 - 10 weatherboards need to be replaced. They have wood rot. They are short pieces. Also would be nice if you can seal and paint them to match house.

New weatherboards required to fill the holes left from the removal of an old AC and the replacement of the meter box. Both have been temporary patched. If you can paint that would be excellent, I have a tin of the paint colour but it's quite a few years old so might need a new can. Edit: I've decided to separate out the external weatherboard repair from the internal plaster repair. Ignore the part below. Bonus if you can also patch the plasterboard on the inside of the AC hole but that can be a separate job if you don't do that type of work.

Hi I need a handyman to replace some weatherboards by midday this Friday please. I have tried myself to putty up the rotten areas but it looks terrible, so I just need them replaced and then a small paint job done to blend in with the boards around them (so the new boards aren't obvious). There is 5 - 7 boards of varying lengths in total. Thanks

Hi there, I am looking for someone to come and replace a section of one weatherboard on the house as it's become soft. I realised this as we sanded them all back to fill the cracks and repaint. We have a spare weatherboard you can use for this. In the photos, it's the second weatherboard from the top on the right hand side (I've posted some close-ups of where it's too damaged to repair.
