I’m looking to get a new front door installed. The current door has absorbed water at the base and needs replacing. I want to re-use the stained glass panels and some of the decorative timber trims. I will supply a solid pine block door and the door hardware. The work that will be required is: 1) trim down the new pine block door to size 2) remove the stained glass panels and timber beading/trims from the old door 3) Remove hardware from old door (deadlock and manual doorbell) 4) make necessary cut outs in the new door for the (3x) stained glass panels to be installed 5)install new door 6)install smart entry handle/lock and existing door hardware 7) remove/dispose of old door.

I need an external glass door replaced with a new door. I will supply new door, lock and handle. Hinges are to be reused as door frame is steel and they are welded on. New door will need trimming as the door frame is slightly under standard size (approx 810x2010, not quite square). Door to be fitted with hardware and then removed and the old door put back on, so I can paint the new door. I will refit the new door once painted. Looking for a professional finish with max 2-3mm gaps all round the door for airtightness.

We have a heritage front door that's 4cm narrower than our current door opening. Looking for a skilled carpenter/handyperson to modify the door frame to accommodate the new door properly. Current door opening needs to be reduced by 4cm in width. The frame is currently asymmetrical (hinge side jamb is 2cm narrower than latch side), so may be possible to just replace one side of the door jamb, if that is more straightforward.
