My sliding balcony door creaks in the wind - it seems to be caused by the pane itself being pushed by the wind and creaking as it moves. Aside from my assumption that it’s not good for the door itself, it is very, very annoying! I’ve tried cleaning / lubricating the tracks, putting new weather stripping around, attempted to adjust the height of the rollers – but I’m overlooking something as nothing has worked. I’m after someone who knows a thing or two about sliding doors and who can identify the issue to come by and fix it. The rollers were replaced this year, I have plenty of spare weatherstripping and easy slide spray. If anything else is needed I’m happy to grab it beforehand. Given how annoying it is, I’d prefer to get it sorted as soon as possible – I work from home Monday (ideal) and also Wednesday, home from 2:30pm on Tuesday. I can be flexible with time.

Need to fix this, shouldn’t take that much effort

- replace 1 outdoor lock (see attached picture). Shimming to be done with proper materials, previous installer used a piece of timber which is inadequate for outdoors - repair 1 warped indoor door that doesn't close anymore (see attached picture)

Have two doors and hinges and handles. Doors need to be hung on existing jambs & painted

I have a sliding balcony door (glass panel, aluminium frame). There is a fixed panel on the very left, a moving middle panel and a right-hand panel which has the door handle and meets a small fixed panel to close. During my recent move into my apartment, the door was broken by the movers. They opened the door and somehow managed to get the right-hand panel jammed / stuck on the track and it wouldn’t close. They removed the panel, had a bit of a look, put a roller back in that had come loose from the bottom (which at least made it movable again) however, the top of the right hand panel now does not meet up with the frame when closed and there is now a gap.

Need someone to fix the outer sliding door. I’ve recently replaced the roller but it has come off & gets stuck while trying to slide. Additionally need a hand to assemble small pieces of furniture such shoe rack, armchair etc - Due date: Before Friday, 8 March 2024

Basically one time my bathroom door (sliding) became caught and jammed on the strike plate. I had to set my friend free from the bathroom and just used a screwdriver to basically pull the strike plate free. Basically I need someone to fix the hole and strike plate area so I can lock my door again. The lock itself is working! - Due date: Before Monday, 22 January 2024
