Ideally, access the joist from below to minimize disruption, but cutting into the floorboards above is an option. Brick & Mortar Considerations: The joists are embedded directly into the brickwork (no joist hangers). Apply appropriate damp-proofing or moisture protection where the joist enters the brickwork to prevent future issues. Safely prop and stabilize the joist during the repair process to avoid further stress on the structure. Additional Notes: The property is a 100+-year-old double-brick apartment Access from the apartment below is preferred, but we can discuss cutting into the floorboards above if needed.

Need interior and exterior cladding cut away. Square off cut pieces and reinstall at top to cover existing vent holes and creating rectangle opening at bottom for dog door. Create timber frame in between internal and external cladding for inside opening of dog door. Masking tape in photo indicates where there are vertical timber supports in between the cladding.

I have 23 of these Baffles that need to be mounted on the ceiling sideways and flat. Currently they hang but they keep falling off so bolted up flat so they don't fall off. Some have already fallen off and some are still up there. They are lightweight fabric material less than 1kg each in weight.

I have an old 70's bathroom and I'd like to remove the inbuilt toilet-roll holder tile with a flat tile so that I can put a shelving unit against that wall.
