The big A/C that cools the living area works ok to a point. But if I set temperature down to 20, then after an hour or two, it starts making a noise. The small A/C in my bedroom makes a gentler noise. Please can you check both. Maybe there is a filter or something that might need replacing? There is a similar room AC in the other bedroom. Whatever needs doing to one, likely may need doing to the other for maintenance.
