We have an old brass shower head and taps. It is beautiful, but it was dripping a lot. Only way to stop it is to turn the taps so tight that it is almost impossible to turn the shower off and on. The cold tap also doesn’t turn well. The whole middle section spins rather than just the handle (see circled part of picture). I am hoping someone might be able to help make it more functional. Whether that is replacing washers etc it is beyond me and I don’t want to make it worse.
