Looking for a handyman/handywoman who can help find practical fixes for minor issues in an apartment. In particular, pushing the rangehood light casing back in place (normally it just snaps back in place), pushing a down light back in place, and fixing or removing a shelf. Photos included but more detailed instructions can be given / discussed before the job. (Note: I’m not asking for any electrical work to be carried out. These are just minor issues a renter is looking for help with. I would normally do it myself but have a newborn baby now, so I can’t get there quick enough. If there turns out to be a genuine electrical issue I will get a licensed trade.)

Hi Peter, Hang 3 blinds fix into wall, patch holes on arc where necessary. 6 to 8 hooks on wall. Hooks will be supplied. Fix door frame in laundry. Hang drying rack in mudroom. Replace deck with on apartment with Ecco deck. Make in modules so can be reused. Fix bearers if required.

I would my existing blind brackets changed to double blind brackets and my blinds rehung. I would prefer standard black brackets if possible. There are two windows, my ceilings are 4.9 metres high and the top of my windows are approximately 500cms from the ceiling.

Anyone willing to do the below please? *** NOTE that this needs the person to purchase the 2 x flat bars, which is $73.60 for the two of them. So this is **included** in the budget for the task. I've attached a diagram too... but basically, would need the Airtasker to: 1. Purchase 2 x Metal Mate 50 x 3mm 2m Galvanised Steel Flat Bars from Bunnings (these are the ones: https://www.bunnings.com.au/metal-mate-50-x-3mm-2m-galvanised-steel-flat-bar_p0427781) 2. Cut them into 6 x 450mm strips. 3. Drill 10.5mm diameter holes as in the diagram. More details: - 6 straps in total, 2 of each size above. - Two holes in each one, with the left hole centre starting at 20mm from the edge of the strap. - The distance between the centre of the right hole and the right edge will differ on each one, and that’s ok! - Holes all 10.5 mm diameter Then deliver to the North Richmond station area (around Hoddle and Victoria Parade - could meet at the Bunnings there if you want to meet somewhere public!) We need to hang a shaving cabinet and mirror on our bathroom tiled wall above the basin. Round mirror, 800x800, with smaller square cabinet. Tiled wall has two water pipes running up directly behind where the cabinet is, with two studs running up on with side of the water pipes.
