Expected time of task: 5 mins. Wooden pegs that connected two sides of a wooden bed frame were broken during a move. I require a simple repair by drilling of screws to hold the two wooden pieces together in the absence of the pegs. Happy for this to be in situ solution to last only as long as the bed remains in its current position.

The steel shelf has come loose at the joint and has become slanted. All the stuff placed on top of the shelf keeps sliding off. Need someone to have a look. Welding maybe required.

A previous Airtasker did a poor job installing a ceiling fan. Instead of securing it properly, he placed a piece of wood and screwed it in, leaving it loose. There is a metal beam available, so the fan needs to be securely mounted to it using a proper bracket or support. The electrical connection is already in place—everything just needs to be connected to the control unit. The job is straightforward: securely mount the fan to the metal beam and complete the wiring. There is no cable or switch . It has to be run through the ceiling and down the chiprock wall . Should be easy . There is also no ceiling bracket . It would be good if you have one .

One of the tuning pegs on my acoustic guitar won't turn and I need it replaced

3 speed ceiling fan. When 1 is selected it is incredibly slow (near useless), 2 is only slightly better while 3 is super fast. We want to see if the 1 and 2 speeds can be increased, possibly by reconnecting wiring for the capacitor or a new capacitor. Note the fan hasn't suddenly broken as it has worked as described above for years. An electrician once looked at it and guessed it was because the fan was 4 speed but the switch on the wall was 3 speed. I am not convinced this is the case

Sliding wardrobe door has come off its railings.

The head of the dynabolt holding a gate hinge to wall has broken. The hinge is now loose. You’ll need to allow for : - removing the large gate including the motors swing arm - replacing the lower hinge (or just the bolt) - remounting the gate and making sure the gate swings correctly to work with the gate motor (no problem with the motors operating the gate previously). It may be possible to reuse the lower hinge, but it could be difficult digging out the old bolt and then securing a new bolt in that same place in a secure way. I’ll leave that up to you. Please explain how you intend to do the repair with your quote.

Looking for handyman -Fix sliding door in bathroom downstairs (barrel is exposed and doesn't retract). -Glass door in bathroom isn't flush and hits against each other when closed, might need tightening -Cut small circular holes in the laundry cupboard to feed washing machine pipes through (including visiting the hardware store to get longer pipes for this) Remove some excess building material currently under the house. Few pieces of wood and shingles, easily fit in a sedan or back of ute. Drill 4 small holes for a curtain installation Clean out the ducted aircon filter (will need a ladder for 3.5m ceiling) I'll pay for the purchases from hardware store separately to this quote (key barrels, laundry hoses). Task here is just for labour time. Anytime after 11am tomorrow (Friday 16th Jan) or Saturday morning.
