Find an experienced handyman in Docklands

Hi I’m planning my wedding for 4th December 2026 (next year). I’m not looking to book the fairy light installation yet but just gathering pricing. I’m looking for someone that can install and pack down warm white fairy lights over a 5x5m dancefloor only. The venue does not have rigging points so these would need temporary installation also. Please see below photo for inspo. It will be on a flat ceiling, not a marquee. I welcome your quotes. I’m hoping for price to be $800 or less. Thanks!

Need to fix the placement of the sliding door of my balcony. It’s stuck and won’t move smoothly.

The rail for hanging clothes in my wardrobe has fallen down. I need to fix it as soon as possible. The parts at both ends of the rod are damaged and need to be replaced.

Wooden Door repair or restoration

Replacement or repair of ignition (volks Jetta). Seems loose and require key to be inserted on a certain angle to turn on.

The hooks of the laundry cabinet doors came of and ripped part of the wood with it. I need to fix it before moving out.

Front panel on tv unit draws is coming away from the MDF backing. On one the screws won’t screw in anymore. On the other the nails on the side attachment to the MDF are coming out.

I would like to repair my kitchen cupboard door

Reposting as I just noticed the original expired. The screws in the auto door closer are stripped. Requires drilling out and replacing screws; then we need to fix or tighten the door closer, it's clicking weirdly but it's almost brand new.

Reposting as I just realized my original expired: we have one ceiling shelf (see photo of gold), one corner shelf (in kitchen ion the white tile, for a small fan), and two small wall shelves to install (see the small wood shelves with glasses on them). Our landlord and building requires contractors to have PLI and provide an SWMS (should be a breeze for trhis type of work). The first ceiling/wood-wall photo is where the hanging shelf will go; second shelf photo is the type of wall shelf we will add, third photo is the wall on which we will add 2 shelves. Last photo is the corner in the kitchen with tile where we will put the corner shelf (to sit a fan on there).

The aluminium glass door at the main entrance of my house is sagging and the bottom door hinge is loose, I need help to fix the hinge and have the door fit into the frame properly again.

House Down Under is an upside down house photo experience, where all furniture and items inside are on the ceiling. We have had some items get broken and removed and need a carpenter or handyman to reattach them correctly. We always use carpenters as they have better knowledge on how to use drills, tools and impact drivers to secure items correctly. Urgent repairs are required as this is a commercial space. List of jobs - Frame in the bedroom (missing a pane) - reattach the pain by drilling and screwing into the wall -reattach bin in the kitchen by putting screw through the bottom into the ceiling as it is upside down - fix and reattach Blinds in the kitchen - Lounge curtain rod needs to be reattached - Bedside table needs to be reattached to the frame - reattach Bin in toilet -reattach Kitchen Tap - screw in Yellow Cushions on the arm chairs - reattach toilet sink tap Most items have been screwed in and none are functional, there is no water connected. It is an upside down house illusion where items are screwed into timber floor and walls and need to be reattached.

Need a handy man to install two board on top of laundry as a shelf. You will required to check the water piping location behind the wall to avoid screw up.

Repair/Replacement of sliding wardrobe door

While moving some stuff, i accidently broke my rooms wall in my apartment. I want to get it fixed.

Repair scratches caused by moving of furniture on wooden floor. The damaged area is the white line in photos, caused when moving couch in the property.

I have gotten a piece of cardboard stuck behind a sliding door in my house so the door cannot fully open- need help taking the door off the rails, removing the cardboard then reinstalling the door.

Install of Polycom TC10 meeting room panels. No cabling. Just remove old panels and put new ones at same place. - 5 panels to replace . Old panels are installed on Glass. Need heatgun to remove them and Glue for the new ones to stick on Glass. - 2 panels require remounting. They were installed by previous Tech but needs remounting because of plasterboard. (approx 2hrs - 3hrs work) Pics of meeting panel is attached.
