Got bit by $20 snake from Bunnings. Kitchen is on ground floor of terrace house. Sink in laundry (same floor) is fine. I haven't specified a date but the earlier the better. When you push the bottom part of the fitting up through the bench top, somehow it no longer comes through enough to reach the thread of the mixer and screw back on.
