There is a water leak near the wall behind the bathroom sink. Please see the attached pictures. The leaking area is marked with two red circles.The water leakage is minor as in the photos. Most of the water is flowing out from the hole marked with the yellow circle, and the water is dirty. There has been no water leaking outside now, but I can still wipe up water with a napkin inside the hole marked with the yellow circle. I suspect there is a leak behind the hole. Specifically, this apartment has been unoccupied for the past month. When I checked yesterday, I noticed a slight leak. Does anyone have expertise in identifying the possible cause and suggesting a repair solution? Since I prefer not to damage the wall, are there any good repair options? Thanks in advance! I found out that the cupboard under the kitchen sink has water leaking, it should be the one connected to the dishwasher. Now because of the leaking problem, I can't start my dishwasher, also my gas top and power supply doesn't work either.

We have an integrated cavity recess toilet. A while ago, the half-flush wasn't working, and so the work-around a plumber suggested was to just disable it and only use the full flush (by redirecting the half-flush, as you identified it was a problem with the button mechanism). That worked well for a time. But unfortunately, that is now no longer working - so we will have to replace the mechanism behind the flush buttons. It will require you to dismantle a bit of the bathroom: it's behind the cavity wall, and the vanity basin is attached to it as well - so the basin will have to be disassembled to remove the wall covering (which is screwed in place, so should be able to be removed and replaced easily once the fittings are removed), replace the flush mechanism, and then re-assemble. The cistern is hidden behind the shave cabinet (see 3rd photo). I can remove the doors, and its easy to unscrew the panel at the back of the cupboard for access to the cistern itself.
